i have recently jailbreaked my iphone 4 ios 4,1 with limera1n and how can i get it back to normal state like i never has jailbreaked it. i have all my music photos apps on my imac

do a DFU restore using iTunes, restore from a backup dated before you jailbroke you phone. (or just set it as new and re add you photos and music if that is all you care, game saves, settings, SMSs will be gone)

Yes, it is important (IMO).

Why? As far as I know, their is no relevant difference between DFU and Recovery Mode if you intend on restoring...
