the latest Arlo firmware claims support Arlo pro/Arlo pro2 cameras with base station 4000 for HomeKit. I have the Arlo pro with 4000. After update, it showing the option for HomeKit on my app on my iPhone (running iOS 13 beta). When I try to add the camera per instruction, it finds it, but after connecting bridge, it displays “uncertified accessory”. Anyone has the same experience? I tried with iOS 12.4 device, same error.

This issue is all over the Arlo community forums. I bought the Arlo Pro 2 four camera kit (which came with the 4000 Base Station) the next day after they released HomeKit support... and returned it two days later. I didn’t actually experience the issue you are but I did have a lot of difficulty adding to HomeKit and a lot of other issues after I finally added it to HomeKit. When I bought these, I already had several Logitech Circle 2’s up and running but wanted to try some wireless cameras. The Logitechs are leaps and bounds better than the Arlos in my opinion (with HomeKit integration at least) and I’ll stick to wired for the always streaming state.

Here’s the thread I started the day I bought them...

No problem. I know it’s not what you wanted to hear and I really wanted for them to work but unfortunately it seems to be riddled with issues in its current implementation. I’ll reconsider the Arlos in the future when the HomeKit integration is more stable but I didn’t want to miss the return period for now.

Check out the Arlo community forums and see if anyone has a fix now. It’s been a couple weeks since I had them so things may have changed.

Didn’t mean to sound like a jerk in my reply. It just frustrated me to no end as I’m sure it is frustrating to you. Arlo announced this back in January and they had 8 months to get it right.

Good inputs by all means. I have visited Arlo forum and frankly, I have vented my frustration as well after reading so many unhappy customers been caught between high expectations and deep frustration. While i have no option to returned products, I will just use the Arlo app at meantime, at least it is what an usable solution for what arlo was designed for. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.
