Unable to add card to Apple Pay after restore

(MODS: I put this here because my phone is jailbroken so the suggested remedy by Apple isn't something that I can do, if you think this discussion is better elsewhere please feel free to relocate)

Hi Everyone,
I've got an odd situation on my hands and I'm hoping that someone may have run into it and might have some advice. I did a fresh 8.3 install (iPhone 6) and then JB using Taig and then restored my phone from backup. All of these steps went fine and my phone is up and running with the JB... EXCEPT I am unable to add my Amex card back to Apple Pay. When I do, I'm told that this card is already in Apple Pay (but it most definitely is not in Passbook nor in the Passbook/Apple Pay area of Settings).

I contacted Apple support and they suggested "erase all settings" and I know that doing this on a JB phone is a bad idea so I didn't do it. I have tried hard resetting, deleting the one (unrelated) card that I put in Apple Pay earlier this morning and no matter what I do, I'm unable to add this Amex card.

Anyone run into this? Any ideas?

Already called AmEx and they said that they can see the card in their system but since its not an active card they don't have the ability to delete the card (the representative literally said the option to delete this card is greyed out, but they said that they could see the AmEx card (on my watch) and that showed the option to delete).

So it appears my card on the phone is stuck in some sort of weird limbo... :-/

I have the same issue, DFU clean install IOS 9.02, set up as new phone without restore backup, once I got to the home screen , I try to add my AMEX card and a pop up said card is already in wallet.

I can add my wife's AMEX and my chase visa to my 6s plus, also I can add my AMEX to my wife's 6 plus, but not my AMEX to my 6s plus.

Already contact apple and AMEX which getting me nowhere.

Yes, took 3 rounds of calls to AmEx over the course of several weeks. Eventually someone I talked to knew what I was talking about and were able to do exactly what Apple had instructed me to do.

Do you know what did they do or you have the dept or name, did apple get involve or this is just AMEX problem, thanks.

This problem HAS NOT been fixed. I can not reload my Wells Fargo debit after restore.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread—I've been hit with this on one of my cards. The old "cards" with old Device Account Numbers are still appearing as active on my account, so any time I try to re-add the card, I get a "call us" message. First-tier CSRs keep wanting to troubleshoot my device and think it's "weird" they can see those, but can't delete them. I'm wondering how you found the right person and if there was specific language you used to get those old "active" ones deleted that were holding things up.
