Unable to add me.com account to Thunderbird

    Hi everyone. I'm trying to add my me.com account to Thunderbird, I followed the instructions here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1625 and it doesn't work. Keeps coming up with an error saying 'Configuration could not be verified - is the username or password wrong?'. I've entered my details in correctly. Any ideas? I'm using Thunderbird 10. The account sets up fine on Mail.app. :confused:

    You have to set up as your apple ID. Set mine up yesterday all fine.

    Occasionally Apple's servers are overloaded or crash for some reason. I would give it a try another time.

    What settings did you use? I put my Apple ID as my username and it still didn't work so I'm assuming that's not what you meant?

    Hi, that's all I entered. Sorry not sure what the problem could be. Try setting thunderbird auto configure for you by setting up a new email.
