Unable to check for updates

If you are seeing the light spinning wheel on screen when you go to the update page in settings, let it run for several minutes.

Error is also present on iOS 16.6. Getting the error on my 14 Pro Max with 16.6 as well as on my 11 Pro with iOS 17.0 beta 5.

Yeah. I think this is something that’s gone wrong on the Apple end of things.

Same here. Tried restarting iPhone 13 Pro Max on 16.6 and iWatch running 9.6

I restarted and it's working for me again. After not working, then working, and not working again 🙂

I restarted and it worked for me, but it sounds like this is a major problem. Hopefully it gets fixed before the next update. **And now after the restart it quit working again

I’m not a Developer user however I was able to installed all Developer Beta builds after I had access to the first Public Beta. Maybe they finally “fixed” it and that’s why it stopped working?..

This is affecting a lot of iPhone users. Doesn’t matter if you are in 16 or 17. It’s definitely an Apple issue that they need to address.

I am a registered Developer and I had issues for several (nearly 8) hours until it started working for me.

The fix for me was to turn off Wi-Fi and check for the update using cellular. It identified the available update, but couldn't download it on wi-fi. So I reconnected to wi-fi and downloaded it.
