    Hi,
I am a new user so sorry if Ive posted this in the incorrect place.
I was wondering if anyone can help:
We bought a mac book air for syncing several ipads with at work today and are unable to connect to itunes. Initially it would not connect to internet either but we discovered we needed to put in manual proxy settings for this (we are a school so our internet is complicated as provided by LEA). The mac book now connects to the internet fine, however, when connecting to itunes we get a Network time out error stating we need to check network settings.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm new to using a mac so if these could be given in as simple form as possibly (the dummies guide).
    Thanks in advance
    :D
