Unable to connect to itunes store

    When i click to open the itunes store, everytime it says: itunes could not connect to the itunes store, make sure you network connection is active and try again. My internet connection is perfectly fine as i have no problems surfing the web at all. I have reinstalled itunes twice now and still same problem. Can somebody please help me, it will be greatly appreciated.

    Store could be down or in a period of high traffic.
