Unable to connect with App Store or iTunes Store

    Hi there,

    I'm new to this site so please bear with me!

    I have just bought a 15" MacBook Pro with 10.8 and I am unable to connect with either App Store or iTunes Store. I can browse the internet and can access everything else except Facebook sometimes. I'm not overly tech savvy but I have looked at all the settings and can't determine what is wrong.

    I have used iTunes since its inception and have never had this problem before.

    I have owned Macs since the humble LC575 and can usually sort out my own problems but this has me stumped!

    After spending hours on the phone with Apple, my ISP and Belkin - it turns out that it is a Firmware issue and not a Mountain Lion issue. Still unresolved but I'm hopeful Belkin will help me out.
