Unable to find driver for this platform??

My G5 running OS 10.4.9 was running a bit slow so I used DiskWarrior. BUT there was a mishap.

Now when I start-up my computer I get this message:

"panic, unable to find driver for this platform"

Then it tells me to restart.

(it's longer than I show here, but the essence of the message is being given)

Anyone know how I can fix the problem without reinstalling Tiger?

( I don't want to reinstall Tiger as I will get a new System Folder and may have to reinstall some of my programs).

Weirdness. If you performa an Archive & Install, you should still retain all your apps, files and settings.
