Unable to get movies on iPhone 6 Plus

I'm having issues getting movies to play on my iPhone 6 Plus with iTunes 12.0.1.26 and Mac OS X 10 Yosemite 10.10.

When I sync my phone in iTunes and check the movies I want they appear to load just fine. But when I go to watch them on my phone some movie art is missing and they only want to stream from the cloud or they are missing all together. Any one else having these problems or have a solution?

I've tried removing all movies and adding different ones doesn't seem to help. Also it only seems to like movies that I have bought via iTunes and not ones I've loaded into iTunes myself.

are the movies formatted correctly?
 
Yes, they are movies I've used on all my past iphones, ipads, and ipods. Is there a new format for the PLus that you know of?
 
I got it to work finally I re-synced it it took a long time. My only problem is now I'm showing 28gb of "other" data I'm wondering if I'm going to have to reformat my phone or if that's the category that music videos go under?
