I'm hoping someone can help, I can't get Boot Camp 6 installed on my computer, haven't been able to ever get it to finish either from the Apple Software Update download or the manual download. Has anyone else seen this or have thoughts on how to get this update installed properly? I've included pictures of each step and what happens as I try to do the install.

Thanks!

What's your drive configuration? I'm wondering why the installer is on D: instead of C:
Have you tried running it from C:?

D drive is the Mac partition, C is the Windows boot camp partition. I'm installing it straight from the Apple installer but I'll try pointing it to C when it prompts for location and update here once I've done that.

Copy the installer to the Bootcamp partition and run it from there.

I did that and it still made no difference. I have the installer saved in the C drive (boot camp partition) and running it from there it still fails and prompts for the .msi file that can't be found. It searches the D drive for a directory that doesn't exist, but it doesn't exist in C either.

The .msi file IS the installer. If you don't have the .msi then what are you running?

lol I'm running the update from the Apple Software Update. I've tried directly, and I've tried the "download only" option and running it from there. It launches and starts, but the screenshots I originally posted show that at some point it stops and prompts me for the BootCamp.msi install file.
