No idea if this is the right forum BUT for the past 3-4 hours I keep getting an error trying to update my apps or downloading new apps. Errors message “unable to install ...... please try again later“

Any idea what’s happening? Or how to deal with this? This is happening on my iPhone and iPad.

Thanks

Very strange. It seems okay now. It was working with phone data but not my wifi. Then it started working when I used a VPN. *shrug*. Now it seems to work normally.

Thanks

These seemingly random connection issues with certain websites or specific elements of apps can sometimes be DNS issues…and DNS issues usually go away after a time. Whatever DNS settings are on your router (and subsequently likely being used by your network devices) were probably failing to find, on the internet, what they're supposed to find.

You can test whether it's DNS by changing the DNS settings on your device to one or two of the available public DNS servers.

Aww thanks. It was the first time I’ve encountered this. Tried a few things and finally got it working. Quite interesting none the less. I’m always eager to learn :).
