Got my iPhone X on launch day and regularly since then I get an error message "Unable to load Animoji" when trying to start the function from within the messages app. Force closing the app doesn't seem to help and I need to re-start the phone to get it working again.
Even when Animoji won't work my Face ID system works as it should and unlocks the phone with no problems, indicating that the issue isn't in the True Depth camera or associated hardware/software.
Has anyone else come across this issue?
