A friend of mine is unable to log out of Facebook on Safari. He presses the down arrow in the top right corner and it just displays the loading lines rather than the option to log out.

It may be a coincidence but his Facebook was recently hacked and had loads of Islamic people added to his friends lists and his wall was populated with videos of people being murdered etc. His password has been changed and I have cleared up all of the friends list and the groups. Everything now seems back to normal but still unable to log out. The only way I have found to do this is to click Safari > Clear History and then refreshing the page prompts us to log back in.

Anyone come across this?

I would contact Facebook security.
