Hi all

Having a bit of trouble playing CSS protected retail discs. This is ANY disc, not just due to one or two. But all my personal non-css movies play fine.

The problem is it gets to the root menu, it stops playing. This to me sounds like a Region Lock issue, but DVD info X won't show anything.

Its a macbook pro i7 2011, bought this year in jan from Nextbyte local store.

Tried Region 4 DVD, Region 1, and Region 3.. Nothing.

I thought macbooks came with a default region set, but i guess Apple might have not done this for these late macs ? *shrugs*

Seems all ik ok. but VLC has problems playing (version 1.1.9)
