Hi All:

I am operating under MacOS 15.2. I am unable to print to a HP252dw because of an expired certificate. I have tried the following:
  1. Rebooted both computer and printer.
  2. Uninstalled and re-installed the printer.
  3. Gone to the printer web page and updated the certificate. When I re-install, the printer shows idle. However, when I attempt to print, I get an expired certificate.
  4. From /library/printer/ I have deleted the following a) installedprinters.plist and b) deleted the hp folder.
I know the printer works, because I can print from a Windows machine.

Any ideas of what to try next?

Don

Hi Xray:

Here's a screenshot of the Expired Certificate error.

How is this printer connected?
USB, ethernet, wifi ??

Can you go into Keychain Access, find the HP certificate, and "trust it"?

Hi F, I am using WiFi. Keychain access is not the way to go. However, I was able from the Settings/Printer and create a certificate. This did work. Don
