Hi, I used Command+Shift+3 and Command+Shift+4 to take a screenshot. However each time I do that, the file immediately disappeared from the desktop. Same issue even I changed the default from desktop to another folder. I tried 3rd party app. Same thing. Anybody knows how to fix this problem?

Use the built in Screenshot App, you can set the save to location and much easier to use, in my opinion, that the Command + etc.

When you open Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Screenshots, do you see Command+Shift+4 as SELECTED?
Mine has NO Command+Shift+3, btw. You also might want to try Command+Shift+5 which has options to grab screenshots of the entire screen or just a predefined area OR create a Screen Recording of the entire screen or just a predefined area. These are saved as PNG image or QuickTime movie (saved as Screen Recording + date & time) files on the Desktop.

Command-shift-5 opens the Screenshot app and gives you tons more options.
I only discovered this yesterday, and didn’t even know screen recording was built into the OS.
