Unable to see 5G in Cellular

I am unable to see 5G under cellular in settings. Only 4G and LTE. I am on a plan that allows 5G and live in an area that has 5G.

tried all the fixes: removing sim, rebooting phone, turning on airplane mode... any one know how to fix the 5G option showing up under Cellular?

You don’t say what Iphone you have !

My guess is that either 1) you think you have a 5G plan but don't, or 2) you have a 5G plan but your carrier thinks you don't. Have you spoken to them?

I could still see the “5G” settings in my 12 mini before I activated the 5G plan with my carrier.
