iCloud Unable to send calendar invites with Custom Domain

I use iCloud with a custom domain and from an email perspective it's all good.

However, I am having problems send calendar invitations to people using Gmail and Office 365 accounts they simply never show up? Invitations to people using iCloud works perfectly.

Any solution to this issue?
