unable to send email from safari

when i press mail contents of this page or send link to this page this appears

I have safari set as my default browser and my mail app is running fine, on firefox I can easily send a link.

no it's still there, If I copy a link I can drag it into the mail icon in the dock and it works.😕

If you create a new user account, can Safari access Mail normally from there? 🙂
