Unable to send message in Facebook on Safari

I am unable to send message in Facebook on Safari. Google Chrome seems to work. Any resolution to this issue?

Might be helpful: Safari –> Preferences –> Advanced –> Show Develop menu in menu bar
Then  menu bar –> Develop –> User Agent –> Select Chrome, for example

Thinking that this also might be misbehavior with older Java and the newest 12.3
