Unable to share via email using Mountain Lion

I'm trying to right-click on a image on my desktop and use Mountain Lion's new 'Share' feature to send the image in an email, but I'm unable to do so.

Email isn't listed in the share menu, even though I have an email account configured in Apple's Mail.app. The share menu does show Twitter, Vimeo, Message, Flickr, and Airdrop... but not Email.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Not at my Mac but does it matter if mail is running? Or is there anything in system pref that would Indicate sharing settings?
