Hi everyone.
I'm having issues syncing the bookmarks / favorites in Maps on my MacBook and on my iPhone. For clarification, I'm currently running OSX 10.9.5 on a MacBook Pro and iOS 8.0.2 on an iPhone 5s. I'd like to bookmark a location in OSX Maps and have it appear as a favorite in iOS Maps, and vice versa. Apparently, as of iOS 8, "bookmarks" are no longer supported in iOS Maps and have been replaced with "favorites". That said, I'd like a favorite created in iOS Maps to sync with my bookmarks in OSX Maps.
I've tried saving bookmarks in OSX Maps and favorites in iOS Maps, however neither is syncing to the other's list of bookmarks and/or favorites. Maybe I'm doing this incorrectly, so is there a different way I should be going about syncing bookmarks in OSX and iOS Maps?
I do have iCloud enabled on both devices, although based on how I utilize iCloud, at the moment I only have the contacts, photos, Safari, and Find my Mac services enabled. Do I need to enable another service for synchronization in Maps?
I've looked all over for help with this question but haven't been able to find an answer to my specific questions, so any help would really be appreciated.
