Unable to trash a garage band file

I have a file from testing with garage band on my desktop I can't get to delete. It says "The item “Riff Test.band” can’t be moved to the Trash because it can’t be deleted." what the heck...

I really am thinking of reinstalling Snow Leopard, Lion is really annoying!

You know I haven't I was hoping to get some help from my favorite mac site. I may consider downgrading as well. I only love having mission control pretty cool, but your right Lion wasn't ready...

I had the same problem but somehow the file just went away

i restarted my mac and it went away automatically

Hey just restart your laptop, it will go away. I had the same problem and the file went away
