Resolved Unable to unlock apple watch with iPhone since 11.2 update

Anyone else having any issues unlocking their apple watch after updating their iPhone to 11.2?
I tried rebooting both devices, repairing, resetting. The unlock with iPhone is grayed out and I am unable to toggle it on.
My apple watch remains locked and will only give me the password screen.

I have an iPhone 7+ and series 1 watch

Just checked with my setup (iPhone 7, Series 2) and all is working as expected.

Not sure why, but my issue is now resolved. I again just unpaired and reset my watch. And now it is working.
