So today i bought unibody 2,53ghz MBP and migrated my files from my unibody MB to it.
Now the keyboard backlight doesnt want to work, when i hold hand in front of the light sensor i can adjust it with F5 and F6. But when i take my hand away it goes off and is unadjustable, the keyboard backlight logo comes on screen but it has (/) under it and does nothing. Also when i take the tick away from the light sensor option in preferences it reappears the next time i go back there.

download and install a program called lab tick. this will allow you manually put the backlight on, as its activated by light. i use lab tick which lets you put it on regardless of the situation.

Thanks, just on my unibody MB i could untick the sensor from keyboard options and manually set the light without installing anything.
