I am trying to test a flashgame on facebook.
The application loads, but then cannot connect to the server.

I'm told the game uses port 8080.
Now, i've switched off my firewall - but can see no options or mention of port 8080.

The app I'm testing is here: http://apps.facebook.com/word_search

The only other mac in the office has no problem accessing the game.

    Please help.

Your connection to facebook 'should' be http, port 80. I doubt this is a client side issue.

8080 is usually a proxy port. However if you want to give it a go, try port forwarding 8080 or TEMPORARILY using a DMZ to your local IP.
