In that one place
I'm trying to keep things relatively neat around my desk and keep my Mini cool at the same time.
Do those under-Mini hubs help at all?

I saw this one on Amazon and was intrigued by it and the design looks like it'd keep things cool.

Anyone have any personal experiences with under-Mini hubs?

I just took delivery of the Satechi Hub for for the Mini that your can add a SSD drive to. I have no plans at the moment to add a SSD but wanted it for the accessibility of the USB ports and the SD card reader. I highly recommend the Satechi for the quality and their Customer support is excellent.

I heard rumors that some of these docks will not wake up the 2.5 hard disk / SSD from sleep and do a force disconnect.

I have been running this one

Use a 2TB ssd and had zero issues at all. Lets you add a 2.5 drive but with out the hassle of another cable and case etc.
