Undervolting or Fan Control for a PowerBook

I have a 12" powerbook that I would like to undervolt in order to get better battery life and perhaps get the fans to run less frequently. What are the software options for me? I am running OS X Tiger, however I may upgrade to Leopard if necessary.

Coolbook. Could never figure out how to use the damn thing myself but I've heard it works great.

I believe coolbook is for intel based macbooks and macbook pros

Well, under Energy Saver in System Prefs you'll find a processor performance selector that you can set to reduced for the battery. If you're looking for fan control, try G4 Fan Control.
