undo crop/trimmed video in quicktime

So I shortened a clip in quicktime to isolate it, but then accidently saved it, THEN thought to undo, which could have saved me, but didn't think to save again after the undo.

The file itself is the same size, which makes me feel that all the information is there and I should be able to recover it. But I don't know how.

Any ideas?
