Actually very easy. A little inconvenient, but easy.
Just go to settings>general>reset>reset all settings. This will undo the "forgotten" device and allow you to re-pair it. Be careful not to hit "erase all content and settings"..you just want to reset all settings. You will NOT lose any content or data, but u will lose all ur current settings. You will also lose ur icon layout. But that's about it. Much better then a full restored.

I had bluetooth headphones called B3. Can't find the manual googling online. I tried to connect them to my mac. They didn't connect. I deleted them so I could re-add them. Now they won't show up in discoverable devices.

I'm not sure if I have connected these with this macbook retina pro 12 before. I had another pair that I had connected with the computer (also automatically named B3). I broke them and bought the same pair from amazon. So the B3 that had been there might have been from the first pair. Which might have been why they didn't connect. I'm not sure. Either way, if they were new they still should have shown up because another pair of the same type connected and worked with this laptop.

There is no need to do a reset like sulpfiction suggests. Thats using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut, and I'm not sure it would even work for you.

Just put your headphones into pairing mode again and search for them again on the phone, as already suggested earlier in the thread.
What if I forgot my car Bluetooth?
Thanks

This does not work for the bluetooth issue... and my device used to work before... I left my skullcandy water resistant headphones out in the rain, so while they dried out I bought more because they aren't that expensive and are really good for the price... I was VERY surprised to find out the old ones worked after sitting in a rice bag all day.. today I forgot my new ones at home and the old ones were brought to me by my awesome wife... little did i know the new ones had fallen out of my work bag and under my seat in the car... when I paired my new ones i did forget device because i didn't want the same EXACT bluetooth device in my list.. SO... the old ones could no longer be found im like wtf... after reading and trying many crap ideas that DO NOT work online like this one... referring to the SAME methods that DON'T frigg'n work to refind the device.. I tried them all except to just wipe the phone... Damn just updated and still nothing... damn guess i have to completely reset... lame...because I care more about listening to music than anything else on my phone I cant backup...
