Uneven keyboard backlight

Hey guys. I own a late 2011 MBP, 2.4 ghz i7, 4 gigs of ram, radeon 6770, ssd and etc...

The problem is, that my keyboard is backlit really uneven

I did take it apart, leds seem to be fine. I've done some reading and people are saying that these leds are bullet proof. So what could be the problem then? Thank you!

Was it even when you bought it? Or perhaps you just didn't pay attention back then?
They probably wore down with time, especially if you let them always on.

The bad news is, I think you'll have to have the whole keyboard replaced if you want to fix it.
