So I just got my replacement today and its a 15" i5. My trackpad seems to be a little uneven. On the upper left corner its higher by a 1mm from the upper right corner. Anyone had similar experience?

No, my MBP trackpad seems even. But I haven't gotten a digital caliper out to measure it ;)

If mine is uneven I don't even notice it. I'd say you should enjoy your new MBP! :)

Put some cloth over the trackpad and then slam it with a hammer a few times. Does the trick every time!

    Warning: that was a joke

Can you guys just run your fingers down each edge of the trackpad and tell me if it feels the same? thanks. :(

1mm? **** you guys are pathetic. Do any of you actually spend time using the computer instead of micro-inspecting it?

I've got something similar. The whole of the LHS is almost 1mm lower than the RHS which is flush with the body. It's probably a minor adjustment but I'd rather Apple take care of it under warranty so will call them later.

To be honest, I'm not really that bothered by it but since I paid a premium price for the unit, I'd expect a premium build with top quality control.

Let's say its like a small dent on brand new ferrari.
