I had a unibody 2.4 Macbook that had a non-working spacebar, so they sent it off for top case replacement. When it came back I initially had no problem with the screen, but now it makes a loud click when I open or close it. The point where it clicks is not always the same... it's strange, but it's a very loud click. It also looks like the hinge has shifted every so slightly to the right - there's a slight gap on the left side, but the right is flush against the alum body.

Any thoughts? (besides take it to Genius Bar and wait for a repair)

Take it back to Apple and explain the hinge didn't make the clicking sound before, they should repair it.

Unless you wanna rip her open and see if you can fix it... I suggest just taking it back and letting them repair it.
