Hi,

I have a Unibody Macbook ( Late 2008 ) and I wonder if it is possible to get a battery which would last 6-7 hours ?

Thanks for your answers 🙂

Have you never heard of hyper juice external batteries there fantastic so good in face apple had to stop them from using magsafe.

Their quality had nothing to do with Apple asking them not to use the Magsafe connector. Since the Magsafe has never been licensed to third parties, HyperMac did not have permission to make the connector.

Hi,

Someone else mentioned about them as well but I was thinking about an internal battery.

So does mean I can not grab another battery lasting 5-6 hours and put it in my laptop?

I had Apple check my battery and it was loosing juice within a years usage. Now I have a new battery that last around 5hrs of charge time. Had it replaced in January of this year. I've only seen 7hrs probably within the 1st month of using it.

Hyperjuice is your best bet or just buy a new Apple Battery. If you have the late 2008, you can swap the battery. Its around $112-125 for the Apple Battery.
