unibody macbook mouse and trackpad problems...

the mouse wont move, the trackpad clicking doesnt work. Gestures work, but even tap to click doesnt work. the animation on the dock doesnt work either.

So without Apple Care the cost would be what?

When I first got the laptop I had this problem phoned Apple and they wanted to send me 2 hours into the States for a replacement so as I didn't do it then will I have to pay now?

EDIT: It seems to be working now, I believe it was Chrome that caused the problem.
