Anybody know which model battery the Unibody Polycarb Macbook used?
I seem to find a whole slew of mixed results, and it doesn't help that there was an Aluminum Macbook to join the mix. (although that battery was silver, while the one I need is black)

Also, anybody know if the Unibody Macbook shares a battery with the Unibody Macbook Pro? I doubt it, since the dimensions are a tiny bit difference, but would really like to figure out which battery I need for sure.

Thanks!

I would avoid 3rd party batteries, they can cause more hassle and even damage, if they swell or effect the dc in board, so I would recommend making a Genius Bar appointment and pay apple $129 and let them do it.

No the MacBook does not share the same battery as the MacBook Pro. The links below will help you determine which battery fits your model.
The link below should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend you take the time to read it.
