Would you mind finding that article you've mentioned? I think there may be some validity to this but I'd like a source.

From the articles I have read, the 4GB ram issue has to do with user-supplied ram and not factory. May have something to do with specific brands.

Whatever the case, mine works fine with 4G stock

Yeah I read something about that too - sounded like the new unibody machines were more picky about the 3rd party RAM being put into them or something like that. I don't have any first hand experience, tho.
