Unibody MBP Apple Logo

Does anyone know if the Early 2009 MBPs' Apple logos glow like pre-unibody machines, or are they always black?
I just won one on eBay, and I'm curious.

Every Macbook Pro model has had the Apple logo glow from the monitor backlight...

They have always been made from white plastic, which lights up with the LCD backlight.

If it is 'black' then it has been painted or covered up with something.

Yes if the laptop has a clear white apple logo it will light up.
