hi all,
i have a problem with my unibody MBP :
according to apple.com, there should be a bluetooth module built in, however i can't use it. i discovered this issue today, because i bought a wireless mighty mouse and couldn't set it up. there is also no bluetooth symbol in my "system preferences".
What could have caused this problem? And is there a solution?
I'm sure that there's, physically, a bluetooth module in my MBP, since i've already used it, like 2 months ago, to connect to my cell phone.
any ideas?

thanks!

p.s. i could take it to the apple store, but we have only one here in germany, which is 300km away from here...

Create a new account to see whether the bluetooth icon is there.

Check OSX hardware profile to see whether it's there.

I suspect you might have removed the icon by mistake.
