Unified Inbox on iOS 3?

Has anyone made this possible yet? I'm currently running 3.1.2 on a 3G and I'm hesitant to upgrade to 4.0 due to the reported slow downs. That being said, I would really like to have a unified Inbox. Has anyone added such an extension to Cydia yet?
