To make it easy to compare pricing across different iMac models, I found it useful to separate out feature pricing from the base price. Here's the resulting chart:

Pick your chassis:
(A) 21.5" Retina w/ Polaris 555 2GB: $999
(B) 21.5" Retina w/ Polaris 560 4GB: $999
(C) 27" Retina w/ Polaris 570 4GB: $1299
(D) 27" Retina w/ Polaris 575 4GB: $1499
(E) 27" Retina w/ Polaris 580 8GB: $1599
(F) iMac Pro w/ Vega 56 8GB: $2599
(G) iMac Pro w/ Vega 64 16GB: $3199

Pick your processor:
i5-7400: $100 (A only)
i5-7500: $200 (BC)
i5-7600: $200 (D)
i5-7600K: $300 (E)
i7-7700: $400 (AB)
i7-7700K: $500 (DE)
W-2140B: $800 (FG)
W-2150B: $1600 (FG)
W-2175: $2400 (FG)
W-2195: $3200 (FG)

Pick your RAM capacity:
8GB: $200 (ABCDE)
16GB: $400 (ABCDE)
32GB: $800 (BCDEFG)
64GB: $1600 (DEFG)
128GB: $3200 (FG)

Pick you drive:
1TB @5400rpm: $0 (A)
1TB Fusion: $100 (ABCD)
2TB Fusion: $300 (CDE) (SALE!!! Save $100 in chassis E!)
3TB Fusion: $400 (DE) (SALE!!! Save $100 in chassis E!)
256GB SSD: $200 (ABCD)
512GB SSD: $400 (ABCDE)
1TB SSD: $800 (BCDEFG)
2TB SSD: $1600 (EFG)
4TB SSD: $3600 (FG)

-----

Observations:

Chassis A and B are the same price but have different GPUs.
Chassis D is $200 more than chassis C for only a minor GPU upgrade.
Thus, chassis C is a loss leader.
Chassis F is $1000 more than chassis E for just the Vega 56 GPU.

The i5-7400 and W-2140B are offered below Intel list price.

RAM is a uniform $200/8GB.

The 5400 spinner is free!
Fusion drives in chassis E are discounted.
SSDs are mostly a uniform $200/256GB.
The 4TB SSD has an extra upcharge of $400.
