Unify FaceTime and Messages

    Wouldn't this make sense? Why are these app's separate on iOS and OS X?

    Because they're used for different purposes. FaceTime is closer to Skype or GoToMeeting than it is to messaging.

    They're slowly merging FaceTime and the phone app more and more on iOS. That makes sense. Either way it's about talking to someone.

    But talking and typing? Totally different. Makes as much sense as merging FaceTime with E-Mail.
