That is one ugly design. It has the same issue as the iPhone 4/4S. You can't hold them properly because they're too thin so you have to use something like a Bumper to be able to grip them. The first iPhone, while a lot thicker, was so much easier to use because of the design.

And personally, I would like to see a black unibody and a lighter silver/more white.

Using aluminium after using glass seems like a huge step backwards. Aluminium looks bad on a phone. I hope these claims are complete garbage! Same form factor but thinner (maybe larger for a bigger screen) would be great!

That's what the naysayers said about the MacBook, the iPod classic, the nano, the shuffle etc... Aluminum looks fine. The glass backing will go the way of the iPod's glass front and the MacBook's shiny plastic. Don't get stuck in the past because in the end you will be the one who is one step backwards.

I can hold my naked 4S just fine.

I was unaware that Apple produced Macbooks, iPod Classics, Nanos, and Shuffles with an all-glass back.

wait until you drop your glass iphone and the back lands flush with the surface. Watch your Front screen spider around from the back and shatter.

then my friend you will wish you had an aluminium back.

Yeah, my opinion is you are ridiculous calling me ridiculous. Can you spell 'contradict'??

Yes I can spell contradict , perhaps you should read the deffination. I said everyone is entitled to there opinion then I expressed mine by saying even if it's ridiculous. Therefore expressing my opinion, My statement supported itself therefore could not contradict itself.

I referring to the old apple trend of using shiny plastics on their products, which was generally considered to be the signature apple aesthetic. Many people said that going to the magnesium/aluminum bodies would never happen because it wasnt as elegant nor in line with the apple aesthetic When apple switched over to the aluminum bodies for all of the above said products everyone had to eat their words. Also, I believe it was the iPod 5g that has an all glass (or glass-like) front.
