I keep getting a reminder that there is an application in THE APP STORE that needs upgrading.
Yet my iMac will not upgrade this program.
I went into Applications, to uninstall the app from there.....but the app is NOT shown.
Any suggestions on how I can uninstall that isn't shown under Applications??

Well it depends on the App. Some apps need to be uninstalled using the Uninstaller and not by being dragged to the Trash. Perhaps you will have to download this app, install and then use the Uninstaller to remove everything.

Another option is to download App Cleaner v3.4 or similar which will remove all these associated files when moving the app to the Trash.

It might help if you stated what the app is. Is it not upgrading because it says the program is already running and needs to be closed before installing the upgrade?
