I too can’t get along with Snow Leopard and want to remove it and return to 10.58 but I can’t see any posts to step me through the process.

I’m on an iMac 7,1 so it shipped with Leopard. Snow was an upgrade.

I have used Time Machine (until SL) so everything is backed up (I assume it will work again once I return to Leopard; right now TM runs the drive but I can’t see an icon for it anymore.)

I’ve never had issues with Apple but I’m amazed at the number of negative posts over Snow Leopard; far too many issues for something that should be good.

Anyone have time to write a step-by-step uninstall/reinstall? After reading all the posts I’m sure there will be many more like myself who will thank you for your time.

Two options:

1. Boot from Leopard DVD and Archive and Install
2. Boot from Leopard DVD and launch Time Machine and restore to a time when you had Leopard.

Both of those options should work.

For the record though, I think Snow Leopard is great and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I think it depends on what Mac you have though. It's running flawless for me. Then again, I'm not running any system add-ons or extra plugins.

Good luck to you mate!
