Uninstall Software - what do you use?

    Hey,

    I'm using CleanApp to uninstall the software i need to be erased from my mac.. but when i do a spotlight search on the name of the program i just uninstalled it always shows me traces of the software...

    Is there any App that completly remove all trace of the software i want uninstalled?

    I rely on the ever so useful Hazel. It has a App Sweep function that detects files and folders used by the app and when you drag it to the trash, it works out the location of the related files and offers an option to trash those as well.

    Another vote for AppTrap. Just like AppZapper but free.

    Yet another vote for AppTrap here. As soon as I drag an application to the Trash, it prompts me to remove any associated files.

    Jolly good show, I say!

    i took the advice and went with apptrap. i like it so much more than appzapper

    I use AppDelete which seems to do the job. Never heard of AppTrap though. When I did my research not long ago the suggested (free) alternative to AppZapper seemed to be AppDelete.

    Any comparisons between AppDelete and AppTrap?
