uninstall widgets?

What is the best way to uninstall a widget.
I downloaded one and it turned out not to be what it says it was or maybe I just expected to much from it.
I have uninstalled one before but for the life of me I do not remember what I did.

Go to Dashboard, click the circled X on the lower left, then "Manage Widgets", select the widget and click the red circled "-".

Thats not the way I did it before, I would have remembered that.
That was Cool. The ripple effect was awesome..
