Hi all, Please call me a numpty, I have a new Mac book pro and am trying to migrate my dell, I have used Vmware fusion 3, and all the software available for this but there was always errors gallor. The last attemp was to use Bootcamp, got to the point where there was an error, so I attempted to delete the partition, now this is where I should not have even thought about, but I did and now I have to Reinstall the OSX, is there anybody outr there who has actually migrated there PC to their MAC without any problems. Any help will be appriciated.
Thanks

The following link should help you migrate your data:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2518
via http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=migrate+pc+to+mac&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Here are some Mac OS X basics, in case you want to find out how to navigate and how the system works.
http://www.apple.com/support/mac101/ , http://www.apple.com/support/switch101/ and http://www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/

Also, Windows software will not run on Mac OS X, unless there is a Mac version, or you run Windows via Boot Camp or any of the virtualization offerings.

To delete a Boot Camp partition, Boot Camp Assistant should be able to help you, unless something is frelled.

And there is MRoogle for any other questions that you might wanna ask, and someone else has done before you.

Thank you but its gone deeper

Thanks for that but it looks like its totally frelled, though saying that Im still able to boot to the windows partition but windows didn't finish the install.....as now it wont boot in OSX. If i put in the OSX installation disk it wont load, so now I've got this beautiful machine that err...looks good..
Tonight I'll do some research and Im sure I'll find something.
Thanks
