    I recently download Ziphone 2.2 Windows version, and the installer had appeared on my iPhone and all. I'm completely new to the phone and would like to remove the Ziphone stuff all together but have no clue where to start. The phone doesn't appear in iTunes anymore as well!!!

    The only way to reverse the process is to do a complete restore!! I don't know what firmware you had before but if you originally had 1.1.3 i'd just do a restore and you should be fine. I would suggest that if you use ZiPhone 2.2 again and if you are with at&t do not check the "activation" procedure as you are already activated with at&t, you will also lose your youtube function. Hope this helps you...

    Solution for all yours problems with your iPhone.

    First: Restore the iPhone from iTunes. Click in the buton restore and the iTunes restore from inicial settings;

    Second: Run the aplicattion iJailBreak 0.5.3. The link is http://ijailbreak.com/. This aplication is for MAC.

    This aplication put your iPhone 100% well. This jailbreak or jailbreack and unlock. After 3 minutes the iPhone is fine, with 1.1.3 firmware

    Tell me anything.

    I didn't have any problems with ZiPhone on Windows. Here's what I did:

    I have a 1.1.2 OTB upgraded to 1.1.3 via iTunes. If you have ANY other type of jailbreak or unlock on your iPhone, you need to restore your iPhone to the ORIGINAL software.

    Dock your phone normally

    Open up 2.2, choose Unlock and Jailbreak. No need to put your phones in restore mode as ZiPhone will do everything for you.

    A few messages will show up in the terminal window. Wait until it says "Done!"

    Your iPhone will reboot and everything should work. If the Map Locator doesn't work, install Navicon from the "Installer" Run Navicon once (no need to sign up for an account), quit and the Maps Locator will work (someone else taught me this trick).

    You need put the iPhone in DFU mode.

    Try this steps:

    1. Click at same time in power buton and home buton, until appears de apple logo;

    2. when the apple logo appears release the power buton but continue old on the home buton until the itunes open.

    3. after that the itunes send this message "iTunes has detected and iPhone in recovery mode. You mest restore ...".

    4. Click in the OK buton;

    5. Clck int the iTunes Restore buton. The iTunes was restore the iPhone setting to the original firmware;

    6. After that Run the aplicattion iJailBreak 0.5.3. The link is http://ijailbreak.com/. This aplication is for MAC.

    This aplication put your iPhone 100% well. This jailbrack ou jailbreack and unlock. After 3 minutes the iPhone is fine, with 1.1.3 firmware

    Tell me anything.

    If you cannot run your iPhone in DFU mode. verify the energy in the iPhone or verify the connetion (cable) from iPhone to USB socket.

    yes.
    ipod touch shuld have no problems restoring firmware.
    ziphone permanently damages the bootloader of an iphone, but theres no problems w/ an ipod touch.

    also both the iphone and the ipod touch uses the same method to get to DFU mode.
